Start engine. Select a gear and allow gearbox to turn for 2 minutes. Check oil level and top up as necessary. Tighten level filler plug 24 Nm (18 lbs/ft) 2010 Golf GTD (170) CBBB, 5 Door, Shadow Blue (P6/D5Q), Transmission Code: KXZ, Flat Tyre Indicator, Basic Protection Pack + VCDS. S.
2. Place oil pan under transmission drain plug. 3. Remove trans drain plug using socket wrench and 10mm allen socket. 4. Remove fill port plug with same wrench and allen. 5. Let drain. (drink coffee and/or smoke cig while waiting) 6. When all fluid is drained, hand tighten drain plug back in. 7.
This was told to me by our very co-operative service techs. It should reset the DSG to learn mode. Turn the ignition on, without starting the engine. Fully depress and hold the accelerator in that position for about 10 seconds (You may hear / feel a click) Release the accelerator and turn off the ignition.
5 Remove the oil pan cover. 6.1 Clean the area around the gearbox housing filler hole. 6.2 Clean the area of the oil pan drainage hole. Use a wire brush. Do Not use Cruise Control. Drive in Tiptronic Mode from stand still up to 6th Gear. While doing that make sure to drive in Gears 3 or 5 for approx. 5 minutes and also in 4 or 6 for approx. 5 minutes. The engine speed window for all gears is 1200 - 3500 RPM (for clutch calibration).
