A Yaris Hybrid will cost from just under £7500 for a pre-facelift car or slightly over £8000 for a post-facelift one. A 2017 car with the current 1.5-litre petrol starts at around £8000. This is something to consider as well given it is just 80k off the Corolla Cross V Hybrid (which rides on a legit Toyota platform). Yaris to Yaris, the fact that it is a legit hybrid is more than enough to justify the price diff. But Yaris relative to other models, I am not so sure.
