Ghost Gamesā development team introduced Need for Speed: Payback for the first time in 2017 as they showcased a fantastic mix and match of ideas bound with some slightly tedious aspects. Certain rivals whom you pass early in the race show up again when you're in the home stretch. I let it sit, hoping the last 2.1% left to install would just happen, however eventually I returned to the PS4 main menu (via the 'PS' button) and closed the game using the options button/menu to close the game manually. This stopped the disc reading noises (which up until Need For Speed I had not heard before from my PS4).
It says "your connection to the game server has been lost. You will he returned to the need for speed network menu". I had the same issue with plants vs zombies and i can see there are many others posting with similar problems. This is a chronix problem with EA servers and you keep telling us to troubleshoot our consoles and home networks.
